Quote of the Day- Taking care of your mental health is an act of self-love |
Let’s talk about something real—mental health. Did you know that 1 in every 8 people worldwide lives with a mental disorder? That’s millions silently battling disturbances in thinking, emotional regulation, or behaviour. It’s not just “feeling down” or having a bad day—it’s a significant struggle that affects everyday life.
The tragic story of the 26-year-old EY employee is just one example of how overwhelming these pressures can become. The important part is, Effective treatments and prevention options exist, but most people never get the care they need. Why? Because mental health isn’t given the priority it deserves. We push it aside, pretending we’re fine, while stress, anxiety, and burnout creep in. It’s time to flip the script. Instead of waiting until it’s too late, let's start addressing mental health upfront.
Access to care shouldn’t be a luxury—it should be the norm. We have the tools to prevent these tragedies, but it starts with making mental health a priority for everyone, everywhere. After all, no one should have to fight this battle alone. |
